The Bebook is an attractive, well-designed gadget. By carrying around something roughly the size of a paperback book, you’ll have an entire library of books at your fingertips. No more need for massive, unorganized shelves and stacks of your favorite classics.
Formats are another huge concern when considering purchasing digital products. If your viewer doesn’t support the formats in which your products are encoded, they are absolutely useless to you. Bebook has you covered here as well, with its support for 23 common ebook and document formats. Whether you’re reading a PDF, MS Word or even a text document, Bebook has you covered. Not only is it an excellent means for reading your favorite books, but it also works well for business documents or other electronic files you may need to read. Bebook also supports two DRM formats, making it work with the offerings of major commercial ebook publishers.
One major disadvantage of reading books on computers is the monitor. Rarely are monitors placed efficiently for prolonged viewing, even though we regularly do so. Furthermore, desktops and laptops are not well-optimized for reading everywhere, as they are often too bulky or, even more fundamentally, simply aren’t optimized for curling up at your favorite spot in the sun to enjoy a bit of pleasurable reading. Bebook’s form factor and paper-like display make it perfect for these tasks. Its small, book-like shape make it easier to work with than is even the smallest laptop, and its screen is optimized for viewing even in sunlight. Bebook lacks wireless connectivity, and while this may seem like a disadvantage, it is in fact a major appeal. As traditional books are free of external distractions to tempt you away from their pages, so too is the Bebook, and you won’t be bothered by the opportunities that internet connectivity would otherwise make available.
Ease of maintenance and expandability are key when evaluating any new gadget, another area in which Bebook has you covered. Batteries are a common point of failure in many gadgets, as even the best care cannot prevent them from failing. To that end, Bebook uses a standard, replaceable cell phone battery. Should it ever fail, simply head to a local wireless store, purchase and install a new one. Speaking of batteries, Bebook is optimized for incredibly long life, supporting an impressive 7,000 page turns on a single charge!
Similarly, when you run out of space, the Bebook includes an SD card slot for easy expansion. Never delete another book again. Simply buy an inexpensive SD card and swap them out whenever you’re low on space.
The Bebook reader is a well-designed product, providing all that is necessary to enjoy a wide range of digital text content. If you’re looking for a electronic ebook reader, Bebook is most certainly worth a look.

Great post. Thanks for sharing the advantages and disadvantages of ebooks with us.
oh my gosh i want an ebook reader so bad for Christmas, it is on the top of my list. I do not have much knowledge regarding various brands and product types available, but from the way you wrote it, bebook sounds like the way to go. Now I am even more excited. If I do not get it for Christmas I am going to buy it for myself!
BeBook Neo is a very powerful electronic book reader that also gives users 7000 page turns on a single charge of the battery.
I recently bought this e book reader because its look and features. I feel it is much better than the Amazon Kindle. It has an exciting battery life of 7,000 page runs, 6 inch reflective screen mimicking paper, and a light weight of around 220g with its battery. At present Be Book offers 150 classic books free, which come preloaded at purchase. And it has an in-built 512MB memory, which is more than enough to hold 1000 books. And being small we can carry to everywhere. I recommend this to all. And give 5/5 rating.
