Amazon’s Kindle is truly an amazing piece of technology. They weren’t the first to come out with eBook readers, but they certainly have taken that technology to a new level.
Plus, with all the books, magazines and newspapers now available in the Kindle store the world is your oyster. Things have really changed, however with the advent of Kindle I have to say it’s changed for the better. The Kindle really does rock!!!

I love your site, I just recently bought a Kindle and it is great. I have an e-book business and before I sell an ebook I have to make sure it is worthy of selling , so I read each one myself.
Kindle is amazing. I also recently bought kindle and I basically threw away all of my books that I had. actually I sold them on ebay and got some cash for them so that I could get more e-books for my kindle. Kindle is awesome. I think everybody should have one. Fits in your back with more than 100 e-books =)
haha steve! you don’t need to throw away all of your books…if you need to throw them away give them to me! but yeah kindle is awesome though
Kindle is amazing! I recently just purchased one on Amazon. I love it!
I never was one to just sit and read book during my adult years. Now, thanks to the Kindle I can honestly say that I am really enjoying reading once again. And…with the increasing number of reading material available, I suspect that we could see the demise of the bookcase.
No doubt technology continues to change the way we exist and execute daily chores. We can agree that electronic reading devices translate into less paper consumption and deforestation. Peeking into the future I am willing to bet that we won’t be doing much reading but rather will be read to. There are many ways in which this technology can evolve to provide customized reading experiences. Stay tuned…
I have agree with Chris. I have started to read much more with the e-book craze. My only difference is that I do it using the iPad. I had a Kindle, but after getting the iPad I had to give it to my younger brother. I had no complaints with the Kindle but with the iPad I can do so much more and the screen is more brilliant, better for the old eyes…
There is so much being said about the amazon kindle but I just hope it is not just another hype.
I just recently purchased a Kindle from Amazon. This E-Book is AMAZING! I never would have thought technology would come this far. I have definitely spent a lot more time reading since I have received this cool piece of technology! Highly recommended for all!
I’ve got my e-book now! Thanks for information.
I didn’t think I would like the Kindle and so I waited awhile before purchasing one…But it is amazing. I can read in bed and not bother my husband with keeping the light on.
Hi, I must say that Amazon Kindle is amazing. This is really evident proof that technology is in constant evolving. Personally I find the e-book very interesting and promising. I suppose many will love this amazing device.
Amazon’s Kindle is truly a great piece of technology, are books on the way out?
I have a Kindle and love it! You can find so many ebooks for lower prices than a paperback, and you don’t have them laying all over the house.
I have wanted to own an electronic book reading device for a very long time. but, I still haven’t made the investment because I don’t know exactly which one I want to buy. For now I am reading stuff on my iPhone screen but the problem is is that it’s too small and kind of hurts my eyes.
Well, kindle is nice but ipad is more of an overall versatile tool. Kindle is GREAT at reading but that’s it. with an ipad you can do reading + photos + apps + etc. I think the market will embrace both.
wow most of you favor on Amazons Kindle. For me, I’m using Sony PRS-505. if sony had made the design on PRS-505 very sleek then it realy fits my style. It endures the normal wear and tear I gave on it and been always on my messy backpack. once i had thrown it away by accident and thought is would be destroyed, but i guess i was wrong.
I really enjoyed reading your blog – I can hardly wait until this weekend to go to best buy and look at some ipads. I’m such an avid reader that I really need one – maybe I’ll check into the Kindle too. Thanks for making me go buy something this weekend.
I love to read in bed and I always found it hard flipping the book back and forth, left to right page. Now that I have my Kindle, I can hold it easily, get comfortable and not have to worry. Kindle has made reading so much more enjoyable
I think the ability of having more than one book at your fingertips is a big plus for owning a Kindle. Just think, not having to cart around a bunch of books with you when you travel.
We’re expecting a baby, and the Kindle has been so useful for us in our quest to learn about the pregnancy process and thereafter. If it wasn’t for the Kindle, we’d be looking at buying dozens of books and finding space for storage as well. thank goodness for Kindle!!
Who would have thought 50 years ago that paper books would be replaced by machine books. Kindle is amazing innovation, the only worry for me is that I cannot build a book shelf any more in my sitting room.
I have been using the Kobo eBook Reader and I love it. It may be simple compared to the Kindle, but if you just want to read books and are not worried about the web-browsing capabilities, it gets the job done nicely. I also like the 100 classic books that come pre-loaded.
After reading this Blog some times earlier,i went to store and bought ebook. It is really easy to use and increase my curioisty.I think it is good gift of modern technology.
It’s always a good idea to use the keywordluv plugin. It attracts readers and other webmasters. Great choice.
PS: I love your advice on ebook readers. I am thinking of getting one soon. Will refer to this website in the near future.
Personally, I prefer the Sony reader to kindle. It’s cheaper and way less restrictive than Kindle. I got one of these for my grand-daughter last Christmas and she loves it – really easy to read.
I,m waiting for ext Christmas to get mine.
E Books these days especially since its compatibility with handheld devices are an important resource for quick instructions, FAQs and trouble shooting.
As soon as I heard of this eBook Reader, I bought one for me and my son. My son really loved it. He spent hours in front of the computer playing games before but since I got an eBook Reader for him, I noticed that he spent less time playing games in the computer now.
For a busy woman like me who is always on the go and travels a lot because I have to show foreclosure homes in the state of Nevada to my clients, this eBook Reader is great. I mean, I can’t go around carrying hundreds of books everyday.
Well, I must say thanks a lot for your valuable work friend. Your articles about kindle are really good, which are a real source of information. I am really luking forward to buy a kindle.
Over the years I have purchased so many book I can now fill about fifteen shelves in my basement. From now on I’ll only buy books for my e-reader as it will save me lots of storage space.
I’m getting a kindle for Christmas and I can’t wait, I read 1-2 books a week and I’m running out of space in my house
I had a kindle however once I got the ipad I didnt see munch point of the kindle, I mean they are great for reading however if you got a Ipad or any similar devices what is the pioint of the kindle?
While I think electronic readers are a nice addition to the digital devices, I prefer the tactile sensation of turning pages in a physical book. It just gives a sense of accomplishment for each page down. Of course, college ruins any fun in reading.
Have you heard of, or done a review on the augen ebook reader? I bought one at a local home improvement store (Menards), here in Toledo, OH and was very happy with it. It’s not an Ipad, or even a Kindle, but it’s full color and comes loaded with lots of books at a very good price!
I’m a technology nut and I’m all for digital reading etc but there’s just something about holding a real physical book in your hands. Paper always beats digital when it comes to emotion. Might not be as practical but I really do prefer that to reading on my iPhone or iPad.
I have tested a few of the electronic book readers and I would reccommend the Kindle. It is smart, lightweight and efficient. Definately the best of the bunch!
Cheers everyone,
Anthony
Having an e-book is brilliant, Right now like if you have an Ipad or laptop, you can read stuff you like as long as there is an internet connection, But when I compare to the real “book” made of paper.. Its a bit eye friendly and I think much relaxing than ever. Because when you are online and read something, sometimes it can distract you from social media, emails, videos, and etc….lost of concentration!
This is really great electronic book truly a great piece of technology. kept it up!!!
